School Organisation
The school is organised in classes by age with two classes in each year. Classes generally have a maximum of twenty-six children and for most of the day they work with their own teacher. All classes in Key Stage 1 are supported by a learning support assistant. Each year group in Key Stage 2 is supported by at least one learning support assistant. Back to top

8.30 The school gates are opened and children enter the school premises

8.50 The whistle is blown to indicate the start of the school day

9.00 Registration is completed and morning lessons begin

11.00 Playtime

11.15 End of playtime, start of lessons

12.15 Lunchtime begins for the children in Key Stage 1

12.30 Lunchtime begins for the children in Key Stage 2

1.15 The whistle is blown to indicate the start of afternoon lessons

2.45 Assembly (apart from Monday and Friday)

3.10 The end of the school day for Reception classes

Accomodation
There are fifteen classrooms and one shared area which is used for group teaching. The school is fortunate to have a well-equipped computer suite and all classroom computers in the main school block are networked.

The school hall is used for a wide range of activities and the school is let for community use.

The school has a playground and a field for playing games. Back to top
